Riyadh serves as the launchpad for the tour for the second consecutive year, before it moves on to venues from Australia to Hong Kong. The Riyadh Golf Club, about 20 minutes from the city centre, is a par-72 championship course of 7,434 yards that has been fitted with permanent floodlighting to enable the new night-golf format at the "Pearl of the Desert." Organisers say the cooler evening temperatures and neon-lit setting will create a festival-like atmosphere.
