Lizzy Novak and Dr. John Frost officially begin a romance

Nbc reports Chicago Fire paramedic Lizzy Novak (Jocelyn Hudon) and Chicago Med pediatrician Dr. John Frost (Darren Barnet) have officially hooked up, bringing an apparent end to a potential love triangle at Firehouse 51.

The pair first connected in Chicago Med Season 11's "The Story of Us," went on their first date at the end of Med Season 11's "Frost on Fire," and saw their relationship continue in Chicago Fire Season 13's "Carry a Torch." After a Navy Pier date the two returned to Novak's home for a steamy night that left her late for a shift; they later struggled to hide flirtatious glances during a paramedic training simulation at the station. Novak's breakthrough with Frost has seemingly snuffed out her previous crush on Sal Vasquez, while Violet's growing bond with Vasquez was noted in the reporting. Producer Reza Tabrizi said the resulting dynamics would be interesting to explore.
