Movieweb reports 14-year-old British actor Lox Pratt has roles in the BBC adaptation of Lord of the Flies and in HBO's Harry Potter series, in which he will play Draco Malfoy.

Pratt, about a year into his career, told The Hollywood Reporter he may be getting typecast, saying 'Maybe, I don’t know, I’m getting a little bit typecast!' and adding it is 'better than being stuck [as] the nice guy the entire time.'

He praised the Potter production, calling 'the set as a whole' 'absolutely brilliant,' and described Johnny Flynn as 'a really wonderful man' with 'a lot of aura,' saying they work well as a duo onscreen.

The HBO show will feature a largely new cast, including Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione and Alastair Stout as Ron. Pratt said he wants to write and direct, that he gave a screenplay to Jack Thorne, and Movieweb notes Lord of the Flies premieres February 8 while the Harry Potter series has a tentative release window of early 2027.
