Lucas Hernandez faces human trafficking complaint in Versailles
Goal reports Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Hernandez has been accused of human trafficking and illegal employment in a complaint filed at a court in Versailles by a Colombian family who worked for him, and an investigation has been launched. According to Paris Match, Hernandez and his wife, Victoria Triay, employed a Colombian family for over a year "from September 2024 and November 2025." The family — a mother, father and three children — allegedly performed roles including security, cleaning, cooking and childcare, were not registered with France’s social security system, were paid in cash, and were expected to work 72–84-hour weeks with no days off.
The complaint also alleges the family were given false Spanish identities and signed non-disclosure agreements in February 2025. Hernandez issued a statement in response, per Reuters: "We opened our home and our lives to people who presented themselves as friends, who sought our kindness and for whom we had genuine affection.
They shared our lives with respect and dignity. We helped them, supported them and believed them when they told us they were in the process of regularising their situation.
