According to Movieweb, Mad Men — the series that turned Jon Hamm into a household name — has remained a streaming draw on HBO Max after a late-2025 4K remaster, ranking seventh on the platform and staying in the Top 10 for 32 days at the time of writing.

Created by Matthew Weiner and originally broadcast on AMC from 2007 to 2015, Mad Men starred Jon Hamm as Don Draper and featured an ensemble including January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, John Slattery, Vincent Kartheiser, Christina Hendricks, Rich Sommer, Alison Brie, Jared Harris and Robert Morse. The official synopsis describes Don Draper as an alpha male in 1960s New York who struggles to stay on top of the high-pressure world of Madison Avenue advertising firms while also being a family man.

The late-2025 4K remaster arrived with lighting and color grading issues and, in some episodes, raw production footage accidentally visible — notably Season 1, Episode 7, 'Red in the Face', which exposed crew members and a vomit hose — but the remaster has since been fixed, and the series continues to perform well on the streamer.
