Man City lead Fulham 3-0; Palace trail Burnley 2-3 at half
Manchester City went into the interval 3-0 up against Fulham after goals from Semenyo, Nico O’Reilly and Erling Haaland. O’Reilly’s one-two with Semenyo and Haaland’s composed finish put City firmly in control, and Fulham came close when Raul Jiménez’s pass slid across an empty goal.
At Selhurst Park the scoreline read Palace 2-3 Burnley at half-time. Jørgen Strand Larsen gave Palace the early lead, but Burnley hit back through Hannibal Mejbri and Jaidon Anthony before Jefferson Lerma turned a late corner into his own net.
Aston Villa and Brighton were 0-0 at the break. Villa had more of the play and ten shots to Brighton’s two, and James Milner came on for Carlos Baleba to equal Gareth Barry’s Premier League appearance record.
Nottingham Forest were also level with Wolves at the interval, despite piling up a large number of attempts; Forest had 16 shots, six on target, but could not beat Jose Sa.
