Man Utd make final call on Jadon Sancho after underwhelming Villa loan

Manchester United have made a final decision on Jadon Sancho's future after an underwhelming loan spell at Aston Villa. Sancho was loaned to Chelsea last season but the Blues paid a penalty to send him back to Old Trafford, and this season's loan has again failed to produce consistent form.

Sancho moved to Villa in the summer hoping to revive his career but has managed only six Premier League starts and is yet to score in the English top flight this season. His only goal for the club came in the Europa League, and one goal from 25 games in all competitions paints a disappointing picture.

He was linked with Borussia Dortmund and Turkish clubs in January but will remain with Unai Emery's side for the rest of the campaign. With Sancho in the final year of his United contract, the club hold an option to trigger a 12-month extension but have decided against keeping him on and trying to sell him.
