Man Utd told Rashford could be tempted back from Barcelona by Carrick
Rod Thornley, a former England and Manchester United masseuse who says he knows Marcus Rashford well, believes Michael Carrick could bring the forward back to Old Trafford. Thornley suggested Rashford could head back to Manchester at the end of the season after a bright campaign with Barcelona in La Liga, provided interim boss Carrick remains in charge.
Thornley described a change in Rashford's demeanour at United and credited Carrick with restoring energy around the club. "I’ll say it, I don’t mind, I know Marcus, and if he’s not happy with what I say, I don’t care," he said. "He became unhappy. He became a different person.
I watched this player that used to be a happy, lovely kid just moping around, especially in the club." During his time at Barca, Rashford has made 13 starts in La Liga, scoring four goals and registering six assists in the league. He has made it clear he wants to stay in Spain: "What I want is to stay at Barca.
