Mandalorian trailer brings Clone Wars bounty hunter to live-action

The new Mandalorian and Grogu trailer didn't just unmask Din Djarin and increase excitement for the new Star Wars movie tenfold — it also offers a first look at a Clone Wars character in live-action.

Embo, a Kyuzo bounty hunter from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, appears in the trailer wearing shiny black armor.

In The Clone Wars, he worked for the Hutt Clan as a bodyguard and fought Maul to protect them. With the Hutt twins and Jabba's son Rotta appearing in the movie, that connection could hint at Embo's role.

Still, Embo plays a relatively minor part in the animated series, so he wouldn't be the obvious choice if predicting which Clone Wars characters might cross over to live-action in The Mandalorian and Grogu.
