Mando and Grogu Get Help From Yellowstone Star in Super Bowl Ad
Disney released a surprising new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu during the Super Bowl. It's not so much a trailer as it is an adorable look at Mando and Grogu riding on a sled led by Tauntauns.
The ad is narrated by Yellowstone and Landman star Sam Elliot, though whether Elliot appears in the movie remains to be seen.
The Mandalorian and Grogu will arrive as a big-screen movie rather than a fourth season, and it will be the first theatrical Star Wars movie since 2019's The Rise of Skywalker. Jon Favreau wrote and directed the film with help from new Lucasfilm President Dave Filoni on the script, and the cast includes Jeremy Allen White and Sigourney Weaver.
Plot specifics are being kept under wraps; all that’s been confirmed is that the film will be a brand new Star Wars adventure featuring Din Djarin and Grogu, and it is scheduled for release on May 22, 2026.
