Mandy Moore reunites with This Is Us co‑stars amid mom‑group controversy
Pagesix reports Mandy Moore attended a live podcast taping at Los Angeles’s Wiltern on Saturday, reuniting with This Is Us co‑stars Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan and singing onstage with her husband Taylor Goldsmith amid drama over an allegedly “toxic” mom group called out by Ashley Tisdale.
The event was a live taping of the “This Was Us” podcast to discuss the sitcom, and fans posted photos and video of Moore’s appearance to social media. Earlier this month Tisdale wrote an essay for the Cut saying she was “breaking up” with a “toxic” mom group that allegedly included Moore, Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor and others; Tisdale said she felt excluded by group text chains and cliques and questioned why she still showed “up for this.” The essay has ignited a social media war, with certain members and their husbands speaking out.
Moore has responded cryptically, saying she has had “to sort of mourn in a way” how some friendships have changed, and has discussed finding closest friends among parents at a similar chapter. She shares sons August, 4, and Oscar, 3, and daughter Louise, 16 months, with Goldsmith; meanwhile photos and video show her continuing with public appearances as the dispute plays out on social media.
