Mariah Carey wears $15M of diamonds at Winter Olympics opening ceremony
Mariah Carey performed at the Winter Olympics 2026 opening ceremony at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, singing the Italian classic “Volare” and her song “Nothing Is Impossible.” She wore a custom winter white gown and feather cape by Roberto Cavalli’s Fausto Puglisi.
She appeared in 306 carats of Levuma diamonds valued at $15 million. The suite of emerald-cut diamonds included a double-strand necklace set with a 20-carat pendant — the necklace alone weighs 185 carats — plus a 55-carat bracelet and 66-carat drop earrings, all set in platinum.
“For me, true luxury is about emotion, discretion, and timelessness. Seeing Mariah wear our work on such a historic stage is deeply meaningful,” Levuma founder and creative director Ali Khalil said. “It is a powerful expression of what Levuma stands for – quiet strength, purity of design, and exceptional craftsmanship.” Carey previously wore Levuma jewels at the 2025 VMAs, where she received the Video Vanguard Award.
