Mario Tennis Fever: Beginner tips and tricks

Start by completing the "Tennis Fundamentals" chapter of Adventure mode. That academy section acts as a basic tutorial, teaching the rules, shot types, and how Fever rackets work; it also unlocks a few rackets. It took around an hour and a half to finish the academy, and although the "How to Play" menu covers the same topics, the Adventure chapter is unskippable if you decide to play it later.

Adjusting settings makes a noticeable difference. In the Main Menu you can remap buttons, raise the camera view, or turn off the Talking Flower commentator. Dedicate a button to lobs and drop shots so you can perform them with one press, and try the "Raised" camera to better judge court depth.

Use a mix of shot types instead of spamming flats.
