Martha Stewart showers and puts on makeup before her 6:30 a.m. gym routine

On Amazon Live's 'In Bed with Paige DeSorbo' on Monday, Martha Stewart, 84, said she showers and puts on makeup before leaving for the gym. "I go to the gym every morning at 6:30, so I have to be out of the house at 6:15," she said.

Stewart said she sets her alarm for 5:45, which "gives me time to take a shower, make a cappuccino for me and my driver." When DeSorbo asked, "You're showering before the gym?" Stewart replied, "I never go to the gym without showering," adding that she "would not leave the second floor of my house without showering."

She said she wears "enough" makeup to the gym — including an SPF foundation, blush and lip gloss — and told the host, "And I look really good. I have to because there's men in the gym. And there's other people that might see me, and I do not want to look awful."

The mogul, known for her sultry selfies, recently denied rumors that she's had plastic surgery, telling People Magazine, "Everybody insists that I've had plastic surgery and I have not ever had plastic surgery."

Stewart has also shown that she does her own makeup and demonstrated an unconventional way she uses eyeshadow, practices she keeps alongside her daily gym visits.
