Martin Scorsese's New 'Mandalorian and Grogu' Character, Explained — Movieweb

Martin Scorsese turns up in the new trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, lending his voice to a brief, comic cameo. The clip follows Din Djarin and his mentor as the New Republic sends them to locate Rotta the Hutt, and during the search Din stops at a food stall where a four-armed Ardennian fry cook with bushy gray eyebrows answers him in a rapid, rat-a-tat-tat style.

In the exchange Din opens with, "I need some information," and the cook responds, "For this price, I'll tell you whatever you want." Before Din can finish identifying his target, the vendor pivots to, "Closed for the night. Thank you," and quickly shuts the blinds, signaling he wants no part of anything involving the dangerous Hutt.

The Ardennian cook echoes the same species as Rio Durant from Solo and fits the description of quick-thinking, gossip-prone characters.
