Goal reports Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli was criticised after attempting to push Liverpool defender Conor Bradley off the pitch in stoppage time of Thursday's goalless Premier League draw at the Emirates.

Bradley tangled with Martinelli after the 22-year-old went down and appeared to be in some distress; he was subsequently stretchered off amid fears of a serious injury. Arsenal missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points after being held to a goalless draw, and the match featured other spiky moments including a clash between Virgil van Dijk and Declan Rice.

Gary Neville told Sky Sports: "Oh you can't push him off the pitch. You cannot do that, you idiot... Absolutely disgraceful, that." Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane also said Martinelli should apologise, calling the behaviour "an absolute disgrace." Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai added that player health was more important than winning. Liverpool now face an anxious wait to determine the severity of Bradley's injury and how much time he may miss; both teams switch focus to the FA Cup, with Arsenal at Portsmouth on Sunday and Liverpool hosting Barnsley on Monday night.
