Pagesix reports “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby’s son, Robert Cosby Jr., has been released from Salt Lake County Metro Jail after serving two months behind bars. His attorney, Clayton Simms, tells Page Six the reality star was released on Tuesday and considers his time in jail to be “a blessing,” saying, “It allowed him to sober up and start thinking clearly.

He’s looking forward to doing positive things. The difficulty is that he was slow to recognize the dissolution of his marriage. But now he understands the relationship is over, and he’s moving forward.” As part of his release, Robert Jr. was ordered to complete 24 months probation and 75 hours community service, and he is expected to attend anger management and substance abuse classes.

A judge also granted a permanent no-contact order for his ex-wife, Alexiana Smokoff, who filed for divorce on Nov. 24, 2025 after three years of marriage.
