Mary Cosby's son Robert Jr. released after two months in jail
People confirms Mary Cosby's 23-year-old son Robert Jr. was released from Salt Lake County Metro Jail on Tuesday, Feb. 3, after serving two months behind bars. Robert Jr. was arrested on Nov. 9 after going to his ex-wife Alexiana Smokoff's family home and violating a pretrial protective order.
On Nov. 25 he pleaded guilty to eight charges including assault, criminal trespass, violation of a protective order and violation of a jail release court order; his plea came one day after Smokoff filed for divorce after three years of marriage. Court documents show that as part of his release Robert Jr.
was ordered to 36 months of probation, 75 hours of community service and is expected to complete mental health and anger management evaluations. A judge also granted a permanent no-contact order for Smokoff.
