Mchose Ace 68 Turbo is the first keyboard with a 16 kHz polling rate
Pcgamer reports that the Mchose Ace 68 Turbo is the world’s first keyboard to offer a 16 kHz polling rate, enabled by a 512 MHz dual‑core microcontroller that the review says reduces latency by a few thousandths of a second (0.02 ms).
The 68‑key, wired board uses Mount Tai GT HE magnetic (Hall effect) switches, which the review describes as smooth, quiet and durable. Trigger points can be adjusted in software (the Mchose Hub or a web interface) down to 0.1 mm, and lighting is RGB with a separate lightbar; the backlight does not shine through the keycaps.
The Ace 68 Turbo is built from aluminium, weighs 1,361 g, and ships with a detachable USB‑C cable. It has three onboard profiles, a multi‑function roller, and a stated price of $139 (about £105). The review notes the package and many setup materials are only in Chinese, which can complicate configuration for non‑speakers.
Out of the box the keyboard defaults to 8 kHz and the faster polling must be enabled in the Performance tab after installing a driver and firmware update and using the recommended cable. The reviewer says the practical benefit is small for most users—improvements sit within average online ping—and may mainly appeal to a tiny minority or provide a psychological edge, though they also call it a very good gaming keyboard despite the complex setup.
