Meet Tina and Milo, the 2026 Winter Olympics mascots
According to Nbc, the 2026 Winter Olympics mascots are Milo and Tina, a brother-and-sister pair of stoats designed by children at the Istituto Comprensivo of Taverna after a contest for Italian elementary and middle schoolers. Milo and Tina reflect stoats’ seasonal coats: Milo’s is brown like in summer and Tina’s is white like in winter.
Milo, named for Milano, is a mountain-dweller and represents the Paralympic Games; he is missing one leg and uses his tail to compensate, with the motto “obstacles are trampolines.” Tina, named for Cortina, is the older sister who represents the Olympic Games and lives by “dream big!” They also have friends called The Flo, child-designed snowdrops.
The Games will be held concurrently in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Andrea Varnier, CEO of the organizing committee’s Chief Executive Officer, said that because the name of the Games includes two cities they must hold the most significant moments twice, with the flag-raising ceremony and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron in two locations.
