Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reunite with longtime PR firm SSML
Page Six can confirm that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are once again working with Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis (SSML), the bicoastal public relations firm that also represents Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Affleck. The Sussexes will work in tandem with their internal team, which includes Liam Maguire, the couple’s director of communications in the UK and Europe.
The royal duo has a long relationship with SSML: the firm represented Markle during her acting years on "Suits" and has partnered with the couple since 2017, and co-president Keleigh Thomas Morgan attended Markle and Harry’s royal wedding in May 2018. Markle, 44, and the Invictus Games founder, 41, have struggled to retain publicists since they decamped to North America in 2020.
Last December their 11th publicist, Meredith Maines, resigned after the couple’s appearance at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party; an insider said the Kardashian-related drama was the "final straw" for Maines. Photos the couple took with Jenner and Kim Kardashian were later deleted from Instagram, and the gathering at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $175 million Beverly Hills home featured A-list guests including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Bill Gates, Paris Hilton, Tyler Perry, Ciara and Mark Zuckerberg.
