Melania Trump premieres Amazon documentary at DC screening in Dolce & Gabbana
Premiering her Amazon documentary ahead of its worldwide release, Melania Trump, 55, hit the red carpet at the newly renamed Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Thursday wearing a Dolce & Gabbana black skirt suit and black Christian Louboutin stilettos.
She accessorized with a mid‑waisted leather belt, styled her hair in waves and beamed while posing alongside her husband, President Trump, 79, who wore a blue suit and dark red tie and told reporters he was proud of her and that "a thing like this is not easy."
After the screening, there will be two dueling after parties — one official and another at Donald Trump Jr.'s private members club that will feature a performance by Akon, Page Six reported. This was the first public screening of the Brett Ratner‑directed film.
Page Six said Melania previously hosted a sneak preview at The White House with a black‑and‑white dress code and limited‑edition popcorn buckets. Marc Beckman, a producer on the film and Melania's exclusive senior advisor, told Page Six Hollywood that the movie brings viewers into "never-before-seen meetings and locations" and offers unprecedented access to the First Lady.
Beckman also said the film will open only in movie theaters to provide a "rich, highly‑stylized cinematic experience," according to the report. The screening described above was presented as the film's first public showing ahead of its worldwide release.
