Members of Ashley Tisdale's former mom group say they wish her no ill will
Pagesix reports that, according to Us Weekly, members of the mom group Ashley Tisdale called "toxic" said they wish her no ill will and are ready to move on.
The insider told Us Weekly the group — which included Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor and others — was "surprised" by the scathing essay Tisdale wrote for the Cut earlier this month and had "thought the friendship faded organically." "There was no big blowout moment so this came as a surprise to them," the source added. In the essay, Tisdale said she felt excluded from hangouts, noticed group text chains that didn't include everyone and alleged cliques formed, and wrote that seeing social media photos of gatherings she wasn't invited to made her question why she kept showing up.
Several women have responded publicly: Moore cryptically commented and during a podcast said she has "had to sort of mourn in a way" how some friendships have "changed." Duff has remained mum, while her husband Matthew Koma called Tisdale the "most self-obsessed tone deaf person on earth." Amid the fallout, Tisdale posted to her Instagram Stories that she enjoyed a "little massage and facial day" on Tuesday.
