Michail Antonio on his 2024 crash, Bilic clash and top Premier League duels

In the second episode of GOAL's Beast Mode On Podcast, Adebayo Akinfenwa sits down with West Ham’s record Premier League goalscorer, Michail Antonio, who opens up on a range of topics including a harrowing car crash in 2024.

The 35-year-old forward, who made over 300 appearances for the Hammers and scored a total of 83 goals, discusses his career highlights and challenges during the interview.

Antonio speaks about the December 2024 car crash he was involved in, which he says almost cost him his life, and reflects on the impact of that incident.

He also talks through his duels with some of the Premier League’s top players and recalls clashing with former manager Slaven Bilic over his frustrations at regularly being asked to play at right-back.
