Mike Epps is father of seven: names, birthdates and recent family milestones
Comedian Mike Epps is a father of seven children — six daughters and one son — whose births span from 1993 to 2021: Bria (born May 9, 1993), Makayla (Aug. 4, 1999), Moriah (Feb. 23, 2005), Madison (Feb. 12, 2007), River (Dec. 15, 2007), Indiana Rose (March 12, 2020) and Michael (Mike Jr.) Epps (Sept.
22, 2021). Epps first became a dad in 1993 and later welcomed children with different partners. He and then-wife Mechelle McCain had daughters Moriah and Madison in 2005 and 2007; he split from McCain in 2017. Epps began dating Kyra, married her in 2019, and the couple welcomed Indiana in 2020 and Mike Jr.
in 2021. The family has marked several milestones publicly: Bria was present when Epps earned his high school diploma in 2016 and has shared tributes on Instagram; Bria has a daughter, Skylar. Makayla and other daughters have attended premieres and events with him. Moriah graduated from The Buckley School in 2023, later moved to France to study at the University of Paris, and Epps celebrated with Instagram posts.
Madison attended prom in April 2024, River celebrated her 16th birthday in 2023, Indiana’s early years were marked in Instagram posts by her parents, and in July 2024 Mike Jr. joined his father onstage and told a joke. Epps has also spoken about his own family background in interviews: he told The New York Times his grandmother had 11 children and told PEOPLE that his mother had eight sons and one daughter.
