Molyneux warns of 'horrendous mistakes' on final game Masters of Albion — Pcgamer

Masters of Albion is, Peter Molyneux says, his final game and a reunion with collaborators from his early days at Lionhead. He describes the team as "incredibly inexperienced" and warned there will likely be big bumps because "we are going into a world we don't fully understand."

He spoke alongside Mark Healey, Russell Shaw, Iain Wright and Kareem Ettouney, who worked with him on Magic Carpet, Syndicate, Black and White and Fable. Their worry is not the craft of making games—the four know that process—but the business side: 22Cans is self-publishing Masters of Albion, so PR and marketing duties normally handled by a publisher fall to the team.

"We are incredibly inexperienced," Molyneux said. "I am petrified, because we are going into a world we don't fully understand. We've been lucky that there are lots of outside people that are coming in and helping us, but I'm sure we are going to make some horrendous mistakes. But… if this is going to be the last game, why not give it a try?"
