Galatasaray turned a one-goal halftime deficit into a 5-2 win over Juventus, a second-half onslaught compounded by a red card for Juan Cabal, who had been subbed on at the break.

Monaco led PSG 2-0 inside 18 minutes through two Folarin Balogun strikes, the first after 55 seconds and a second from the spot, but PSG reduced the deficit when Désiré Doué, introduced for Ousmane Dembélé, finished in the 29th minute. Philipp Köhn had earlier saved a Vitinha penalty, and a VAR check for a possible arm by Doué on Vanderson did not overturn the goal.

At the Westfalenstadion Borussia Dortmund held a 1-0 lead over Atalanta after Serhou Guirassy rose at the far post to head in a Julian Ryerson cross; the match had started 15 minutes late.

In Lisbon Benfica and Real Madrid were goalless as Vinícius Júnior dragged a low shot just wide. Benfica began brightly, won the first corner, and even saw the club mascot Águia Vitória fly around the stadium before kick-off.
