Mr. Robot hits No. 2 on iTunes US, No. 4 globally, outpaces Euphoria and Friends
Collider reports (Jan. 29, 2026) that Mr. Robot is currently the second most-streamed series on iTunes in the U.S. and the fourth most-watched series globally.
On iTunes globally, the series is outperforming shows such as Euphoria, Friends, and the British period drama Downton Abbey, according to the report.
Collider includes a synopsis for new viewers: "Young, anti-social computer programmer Elliot works as a cybersecurity engineer during the day, but at night he is a vigilante hacker. He is recruited by the mysterious leader of an underground group of hackers to join their organization..."
Created and developed by Sam Esmail, Mr. Robot ran from 2015 to 2019 on USA Network. Esmail directed three episodes in season 1 before serving as sole director for seasons 2–4, and the show is led by Christian Slater and Rami Malek.
The series holds a 94% critics' score and 93% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and earned two Golden Globe Awards, three Primetime Emmys and a Peabody Award; it won Best Television Drama at the 73rd Golden Globes, beating Game of Thrones and Narcos.
