Mutha adds Detox Greens scent to Exfoliating Body Bar and Body Butter
Pagesix reports Mutha this week launched a new scent, Detox Greens, applying it to the brand's two bestselling items: the Exfoliating Body Bar and the Body Butter.
The fragrance features notes of eucalyptus leaf, lilac flower, cardamom and amber. Mutha, founded by a former model and mother of four and built on the slogan 'inspired by moms, made for all,' has been worn by stars such as Kate Hudson and Kelly Roland. The Exfoliating Body Bar is described as sensitive-skin safe and made with cupuaçu seed butter and jojoba oil; the report says clinical trials found the bar greatly helped with bumps and keratosis pilaris (KP) and it also helps prevent ingrown hairs. The Body Butter is made with 100% natural-origin ingredients and no water or fillers—shea, coconut, mango and cocoa butters—and is promoted as helping to firm skin and minimize stretch marks. Last year Taylor Swift's personal trainer Kirk Myers told the outlet he loves the Body Butter: 'The Body Butter is my favorite; it's so lush.'
The Detox Greens duo is available as a set and the butter comes in a shimmer version as well. One shopper wrote of the moisturizer, 'After applying Body Butter to my 76-year-old arms and legs (dry from lots of sun and yardwork), it appeared I had turned the clock back quite a few years. There was no after-waxy or oily residue.' The pieces are presented as a sensorial, spa-worthy way to reset body care for the new year.
