NBA reveals 10 starters for 2026 All-Star Game ahead of U.S. vs. World showdown
Nbc reports the NBA has revealed the 10 starters for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, which will be played Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. ET from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The starters were determined by a vote that was 50% fan ballots, 25% NBA players and 25% media, and were announced Monday during the league’s MLK Day quadrupleheader. The 10 named starters — five from the Eastern Conference and five from the Western Conference — are: EAST — Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), Jalen Brunson (New York Knicks), Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons) and Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers); WEST — Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Luka Doncic (Los Angeles Lakers), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City Thunder), Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs).
The game will adopt a U.S. vs. World format. On February 1, the rest of the roster will be announced after coaches vote to fill out the field to 24 players; those 24 will be divided into three teams of eight (one World team and two made up of American players). The All-Star Game itself will consist of four separate 12-minute games — the first three determine the two teams that advance to a final 12-minute game — and will be broadcast live on the network and Peacock.
