NBC launches Sunday Night Basketball on NBC and Peacock Feb. 1–Apr. 5

NBC Sports is placing Sunday Night Basketball in its weekly prime-time rotation for the first time, bringing NBA games to NBC and Peacock every Sunday night from February 1 through April 5, 2026. The network says the slate will feature big NBA names — including LeBron, Wemby, Jokić, Steph, SGA and KD — and it kicks off with a doubleheader on February 1 before settling into a weekly single-game slot.

With Sunday Night Basketball added, NBC and Peacock will carry live NBA games on three nights each week alongside Peacock’s NBA Monday streaming exclusives and NBC/Peacock’s Coast 2 Coast Tuesday games, the outlet notes. Full schedule (all times ET): Sunday, February 1 at 7 p.m. — Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks; Sunday, February 1 at 9:30 p.m.
