NBC's Super Bowl ratings just miss record — but Bad Bunny was the top draw
The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl 60, and NBC's broadcast averaged 124.9 million viewers. That made it the second-most-watched Super Bowl, behind FOX Sports' 2025 telecast, and ended a two-year run of record-breaking viewership. Telemundo delivered a US Spanish-language record with an average of 3.3 million viewers, peaking at 4.9 million during Bad Bunny's halftime show.
Overall viewership averaged 128.2 million from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. ET during the performance. Across NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo, an all-time high of 137.8 million watched during the second quarter. NBC Sports said Nielsen will provide a more detailed breakdown later in the week.
Nielsen revised its ratings calculation in late January 2025 to better account for out-of-home viewing, and many major events have since reported higher numbers.
