NECA unveils Fortnite action figures, including TMNT and horror icons

At the annual Toy Fair in New York on Feb. 14, NECA revealed a partnership with Epic Games to produce a line of Fortnite action figures. Each figure will include a digital code for use in the game. NECA is making physical versions of established Fortnite characters as they appear in-game.

The first wave in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line launches with five figures — the four turtles and Shredder — based on Fortnite-exclusive designs that have appeared in the in-game shop as recently as December. The company also unveiled a trio of Fortnite-styled horror icons: Michael Myers (Halloween 2) with an emote keyboard, Saw’s Billy the Puppet, and Leatherface with a Peely-skin back bling.

These Fortnite versions are more cartoony and less detailed than NECA’s Ultimate figures, and Billy is the same height as Michael and Leatherface in this interpretation. Fortnite crossovers keep adding cosmetics, and NECA’s deep roster history suggests the line could expand with many more characters and variants.
