Netflix trailer for War Machine stars Alan Ritchson in action sci-fi

Netflix has released the first trailer for War Machine, an action‑sci‑fi film that stars Alan Ritchson and is directed by Patrick Hughes. The ensemble cast includes Dennis Quaid, Jai Courtney, Stephan James, Esai Morales, Keiynan Lonsdale and Daniel Webber.

According to the official logline, War Machine picks up during the final 24 hours of U.S. Army Ranger selection, when an elite team’s training exercise becomes a fight for survival against an unimaginable threat. The film will debut on Netflix on March 6, 2026.

In an interview, Jai Courtney described the film as a high‑concept survival thriller and praised shooting in Australia. Ritchson is also set to return as Jack Reacher for a fourth season and a Frances Neagley spin‑off, and will appear in The Man with the Bag, Motor City and Runner.
