Netflix’s Answer to ‘Bosch’ Is Thriving, Just Not as Much as ‘Bridgerton’
Netflix’s legal drama positioned as the streamer’s answer to Bosch is performing well, but it hasn’t reached the heights of Bridgerton’s latest surge. Bridgerton’s Season 4, Part 1 dropped last week and drew millions of viewers to the Cinderella-style romance between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).
While the season currently holds the lowest audience score in the series on Rotten Tomatoes, critics were kinder; Collider’s Carly Lane gave Part 1 an 8/10, praising a stronger balance between romance and supporting storylines and highlighting Yerin Ha’s impact.
New Samba TV data shows Season 4, Part 1 reached 6.4 million households in the live-plus-three-day window, a 52% increase over Season 3, Part 1, and most viewers watched at least three of the four episodes — an unusually high retention rate. The show shot to the top of Netflix’s U.S.
