A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has slipped to second place on HBO's global charts, overtaken by the medical drama The Pitt, Flixpatrol shows. The fantasy series now sits behind titles such as The Last of Us, Industry and Heated Rivalry. The spin-off is set years after House of the Dragon and roughly 90 years before the original series.

It follows hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell) as they travel across the Seven Kingdoms; the six-part series is at mid-season and does not feature dragons or white walkers. The Pitt, led by Noah Wyle, has drawn critical praise for its performances and been commended by medical professionals for its realistic portrayal of healthcare workers.

Its first season was well received, and a third season was greenlit ahead of Season 2. Both shows have been renewed: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will adapt the second book, The Sworn Sword, for its next season, and both series are streaming on HBO.
