Nia DaCosta says she has no ill will toward Kevin Feige, kept Doomsday spoiler
Gamesradar reports that director Nia DaCosta says she holds no ill will toward Marvel Studios or its president Kevin Feige, telling Inverse, "But actually I fucking love Kevin Feige and we all get along."
Despite past reports suggesting friction on The Marvels set, DaCosta said, "It's so funny because the way it was reported, it seemed very dramatic," a remark the report says likely referred to a 2023 Variety piece that raised concerns about lengthy reshoots and the director working on another movie while in pre-production.
DaCosta also protected one of Marvel's biggest Avengers: Doomsday secrets — that Chris Evans would be returning as Steve Rogers — for "years," and was present on set for the filming of the moment that later appeared in the first Avengers: Doomsday teaser. Next up for the MCU, the report says, is Wonder Man, which features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as an actor who auditions for the lead in a Wonder Man movie before getting superpowers.
