Nicola Peltz's weight loss tied to training for Prima role amid Beckham feud

A source told People in a report published on Friday that Nicola Peltz’s dramatic weight loss follows a physical transformation and an intense workout regimen she undertook to prepare for her upcoming role in the ballerina film Prima. Peltz is expected to star in the movie alongside Faye Dunaway, Mira Sorvino and Jack Huston.

According to the film’s official storyline, she will play Margo, a 'classical ballet dancer' who 'sees her world shaken when modern changes threaten her company’s tradition, leading her to question the true cost of absolute dedication to art.' A rep for Peltz did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The explanation for her changed appearance came after fans pointed to the actress’s recent Instagram vacation posts with husband Brooklyn Beckham. The timing follows Brooklyn’s public social-media statement accusing his parents of 'constantly' disrespecting Peltz, creating 'countless lies,' and trying 'endlessly to ruin' their relationship.

In that post, Brooklyn said he did not want to reconcile with his parents and alleged his mother canceled on making Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute, forcing a replacement.
