Nikki Glaser mocks Leonardo DiCaprio's younger girlfriends at Golden Globes
Independent.co reports that at the Golden Globes ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday (11 January), host Nikki Glaser roasted Leonardo DiCaprio over his history of dating younger women. Glaser targeted the 50-year-old actor in a joke that referenced past partners — Danish model Nina Agdal (25 at the time), Camila Morrone (20) and his current link to 27-year-old Vittoria Ceretti — saying: “What a career you've had: countless iconic performances, you've worked with every great director, you've won three Golden Globes, an Oscar, and the most impressive thing is you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30.” DiCaprio smiled and looked down; Glaser apologised and called her joke “cheap.” She added: “I tried not to make it but, you know, we don't know anything else about you, man.
There's nothing else, open up.” The ceremony also saw other jibes about DiCaprio's past — Glaser joked his most in-depth interview was “in Teen Beat magazine in 1991,” and asked, “Is your favorite food still pasta, pasta and more pasta,” to which he gave a playful thumbs up. The event’s major winners included One Battle After Another and Netflix’s Adolescence, which each took four trophies; Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor in a Film – Musical or Comedy for Marty Supreme, and Wagner Moura won the dramatic film category for The Secret Agent, which also won Best Foreign Language Film.
