Collider compiled a list of nine 2000s TV shows that many viewers have largely forgotten.

The selection ranges from family drama Everwood (2002–2006), which received Emmy nods and was named to TV Guide's 2003 list of "best shows you may not be watching," to HBO's Rome (2005–2007), which ended after its second season reportedly because of high production costs. Other entries include Showtime's Brotherhood (2006–2008), NBC/TNT's Southland (2009–2013), post‑apocalyptic Jericho (2006–2008), Dead Like Me (2003–2004), Cold Case (2003–2010), ITV's Marple (2004–2013), and Showtime's Californication (2007–2014).

Some of the shows retain a presence: Rome still streams on HBO Max and Marple is available on Britbox and Acorn TV, while Jericho briefly returned after a fan campaign before being cancelled again. A planned Cold Case reboot was confirmed in 2024 not to be moving forward. The list highlights how varied receptions and legacies left several notable series drifting out of contemporary attention.
