Nintendo will hold a Direct livestream tomorrow, Feb. 5, to discuss upcoming Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 games. The roughly 30-minute partner showcase starts at 6 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Eastern and will emphasize third-party titles rather than Nintendo’s own first-party releases.

With more power than the original Switch, the Switch 2 can handle a broad range of big-budget third-party games. Capcom has already committed entries such as Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata to the system, and other developers could bring PS5 and Xbox projects if they make concessions to port them.

Fans are hoping to see both new releases and ports: some would like an Overwatch 2 Switch 2 upgrade to do daily tasks on the go, and it’s been a while since FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods was shown, so that title could appear in the showcase.
