Nintendo announced that Virtual Boy games will arrive on Nintendo Switch Online starting Feb. 17, with titles such as Galactic Pinball and Virtual Boy Wario Land available at launch.

The initial library launching on Feb. 17 will include Galactic Pinball, Teleroboxer, RED ALARM, Virtual Boy Wario Land, 3-D Tetris, Golf and The Mansion of Innsmouth.

More Virtual Boy games are planned throughout 2026, including Mario Clash, Mario's Tennis, Jack Bros., Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Virtual Bowling, Vertical Force, V-Tetris and two previously unreleased titles: Zero Racers and D-Hopper.

Nintendo reminded players the Virtual Boy offerings will require a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Nintendo also previewed a new Virtual Boy accessory announced during a Nintendo Direct last September: a full version priced at $99.99 and a cardboard option at $24.99. The re-releases will include features like rewinding gameplay and changing controller layouts.

A color-tint option that will let players swap the Virtual Boy's signature red tint for alternatives such as white or green is planned for later this year; Nintendo said players will need to remove the lens cover to use that feature. Several additional titles are slated for 2026 but no specific release dates have been announced yet.
