A now-deleted clip posted on Twitter by Thomas Mahler, creative director of No Rest for the Wicked and CEO of Moon Studios, shows the action-RPG running on Nintendo's Switch 2. The footage, since reposted on Reddit, captures Mahler playing a live build rather than a simple screen capture.

Mahler previously said in July 2025 that PlayStation 5 was the primary console priority because it "makes the most sense." At the time, Moon Studios aimed to bring the project to all platforms, though perhaps not all at once. Last summer the Xbox Series X/S remained the biggest question mark, with Mahler noting discussions with Microsoft would be needed despite Xbox appearing in the game's social channels.

The recent Switch 2 clip suggests that internal momentum for Nintendo's console may be growing and that an announcement could follow. No Rest for the Wicked entered Steam Early Access in April 2024 and has drawn strong feedback, with over 57,000 reviews at an 80% positive rating.
