No Super Bowl trailers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day or Avengers: Doomsday
According to Deadline, neither Marvel Studios’ 2026 films Spider-Man: Brand New Day nor Avengers: Doomsday will air trailers during next weekend’s Super Bowl, with Disney reportedly prioritizing spots for Pixar’s Hoppers, The Mandalorian & Grogu, and Toy Story 5 instead. There had been widespread rumors that at least one Marvel movie would get airtime during the game; past Super Bowl trailers for Marvel titles such as Deadpool & Wolverine broke records when they debuted.
Deadline’s reporting, however, says there will be no MCU trailers during this year’s broadcast. The report suggests Avengers: Doomsday’s string of teasers over the festive period did not lead to a full Super Bowl trailer. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to open on Jul. 31, 2026, also has no official trailer yet, and several AI-generated fake trailers have circulated online amid fan impatience.
MovieWeb notes Marvel has previously released first teasers in the week before the Super Bowl — the initial Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer arrived on Feb. 4 last year rather than during the game — so a surprise drop for Brand New Day in the coming days remains possible. Multiple reports have claimed the Brand New Day trailer has been approved, mixed and is ready to go, which often indicates an imminent release.
