Noel Gallagher says Oasis would welcome writing the Bond 26 theme
People reports that Noel Gallagher said he would welcome writing the theme for the next James Bond film, known as "Bond 26," in an interview on talkSPORT Drive on Monday, Jan. 5.
When host Andy Goldstein asked if he'd like a call from long-term Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, Noel replied, "I'd say, 'Alright Babs,'" and added, "Absolutely, yeah, of course, it'd be an absolute honor!" He said theme songs "should be done by Brits, not Yanks," that he had yet to receive a call, and that he would be open to an on-screen role: "I'll play a villain, I'll play a Mancunian villain!"
Daniel Craig left the role after No Time to Die in 2021. Callum Turner has been among names linked to the part but said in December 2023 he had had "no meetings" about playing the spy while praising Broccoli as an "amazing producer," and other actors mentioned include Jacob Elordi and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Broccoli told The Guardian in October 2023 that she and fellow filmmakers hadn't "even begun" work on the next installment. Oasis's Live '25 Tour with Noel and Liam Gallagher ran from July 2025 to November 2025.
