Nordstrom, Wayfair, Spanx and more are running sales — discounts up to 82%

People reports that major retailers including Nordstrom, Wayfair, Spanx, Amazon and more are hosting winter sales shoppers can start browsing now, with some discounts reaching as much as 82 percent off. Nordstrom’s sale section features more than 71,000 items, from outerwear and boots to skincare.

Examples called out include a Sam Edelman teddy jacket described by one reviewer as "buttery soft to the touch" (currently 45 percent off), a Bernardo Bren quilted puffer coat praised as "very warm and perfect for winter," and Sorel Joan Now booties that reviewers said kept feet warm and dry on snowy trips.

Spanx has items up to 75 percent off, with highlights such as the AirEssentials turtleneck tunic (noted to be made from the same fabric as Reese Witherspoon’s matching set) and the Shape Ribbed Knit Legging, which is listed as 63 percent off. Amazon’s deals include winter essentials like a Lasko portable space heater on sale for about $40, Yageyan snow boots with faux-fur lining, and the long Orolay down jacket that shoppers in cold climates have praised.

Wayfair’s Five Days of Deals, which runs through Feb. 2, discounts thousands of home items.
