Obama Teases Reggie Miller at NBA All-Star Game — Nbc

Former President Barack Obama, who served in the Oval Office from 2009 to 2017, attended the All-Star Game with his wife Michelle and daughter Sasha, sitting courtside next to Julius "Dr. J" Erving. During a break in the action he struck up a conversation with analyst and NBA legend Reggie Miller.

The chat touched on basketball's international growth and this year's U.S. vs. The World format, then turned to Chicago memories and the Bulls' 1990s run. Obama said, "I always enjoyed watching us beat Indiana." Miller replied, "I knew you were gonna say that!" Obama added, "that nobody terrified me more than Reggie Miller with a possible three-point shot at the end of the game." He also spoke about the upcoming Barack Obama Presidential Center, a new campus in Chicago that will house his Presidential Library, the offices of the Obama Foundation, a public library and a full basketball court for community use.
