People reports that One Battle After Another won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical on Sunday, Jan. 11, beating Blue Moon, Bugonia, Marty Supreme, No Other Choice and Nouvelle Vague; the film's cast and crew went on stage to accept the award.

The Paul Thomas Anderson film earned its fourth prize of the night. Anderson also won trophies for direction and for his screenplay, and Teyana Taylor won for her supporting performance. The movie led the Golden Globe nominations with nine and had previously won three Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 4, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.

One Battle After Another is streaming on HBO Max and is described in the report as Leonardo DiCaprio's latest film and Anderson's first since 2021's Licorice Pizza; it stars DiCaprio, Taylor, Regina Hall, Sean Penn and Chase Infiniti. The 2026 Golden Globe Awards were hosted by Nikki Glaser and aired live on the CBS Television Network, with streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S.
