FlixPatrol data shows Christopher Nolan’s World War II drama Oppenheimer is currently placing in the iTunes top 10 across multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Slovenia and Lebanon, signaling renewed digital interest. The film grossed nearly $1 billion at the box office and swept the 2024 Academy Awards, earning the distinction of the highest-grossing World War II movie of all time prior to its digital resurgence.

Since its summer 2023 premiere, Oppenheimer has bounced among streaming services such as Peacock and Prime Video before returning to strong performance on digital platforms like iTunes, where it sits in the top 10 in several territories, according to FlixPatrol. Oppenheimer follows the life of J.

Robert Oppenheimer and the WWII race to build nuclear weapons.
