Over the Garden Wall finally coming to Blu-ray

Over the Garden Wall is getting its first Blu-ray release, with Amazon listing an April 7 street date. The one-disc set is up for pre-order at $30.99. The 2014 miniseries follows half-brothers Wirt (Elijah Wood) and Greg (Collin Dean) as they try to find their way home through the mysterious forest called the Unknown, aided by Beatrice (Melanie Lynskey) and the Woodsman (Christopher Lloyd).

Creator Patrick McHale adapted the series from his short film Tome of the Unknown, and the show remains a popular autumnal watch; it’s also available to stream on Hulu. No details about special features for this release have been revealed. A previous UK-exclusive Blu-ray included episode commentaries, a behind-the-scenes featurette, the original Tome of the Unknown short, deleted scenes, and a composer's cut.

Some fans have also hoped the set will include the 2024 stop-motion short made for the series’ 10th anniversary.
